From February to May 2025, the La Terra Nostra Foundation supported the competition project of the women’s handball club OŽRK Iskra Stolac in the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thanks to this support, 20 young athletes from Stolac had the opportunity to compete, train, and grow in an environment that fosters team spirit, athletic development, and intergenerational cooperation.

Training and Competition
The preparation period in February included regular training sessions in the Stolac City Hall, along with additional activities in the gym and fitness facilities. The spring part of the season (March–May) brought a series of matches that gave the girls the chance to compete, discover other cities, and build new friendships.

Investment in the Future
The Foundation’s funds were used to cover transportation costs for away matches in Bihać and Tešanj, as well as to purchase handballs for the youngest generations of the club.

OŽRK Iskra Stolac continues its efforts to secure stable funding and ongoing development, while the La Terra Nostra Foundation remains dedicated to supporting projects that empower youth, promote sports, and strengthen community.
