La Terra Nostra supported studen Rijada Sarića to CoDIT 2019 conference in Paris

It is our pleasure to report another success story of our scholar, engineer and researcher Rijad Saric. This is the second consecutive year he participated in the prestigious international IEEE Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies held in Paris, France last week.
The research paper titled “Evaluation of Skeletal Gender and Maturity for Hand Radiographs using Deep Convolutional Neural Networks” is demonstrated during Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining panel and It has been drawn significant attention of attendees during the discussion of presented paper. The research paper will be published in the conference proceedings including the online IEEE Xplore database.
Moreover, being a member of IEEE society, Rijad received an offer to extend his research and submit the new version for journal publication. We are also proud to emphasize that Rijads trip and stay in Paris is supported by La Terra Nostra, Bosnian charity foundation located in Zürich, Switzerland. This foundation aims to support unique projects that will enhance the academic as well as professional education of children in BH.
