I was born in Sarajevo, where I graduated from the First Gymnasium and began my studies in Philosophy and Sociology, which I completed at Loyola University in Chicago. After studying philosophy, I found myself in the world of finance and this is where I have been for the last 20 years. I perfected my knowledge in finance with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from North Park University in Chicago. Being one of the founders of La Terra Nostra, gave my life a special meaning. It took me a while to realize that love for the homeland is like a love towards one’s child. You love her unconditionally and you want her to grow up happy and carefree, and to develop like other children. However, no one teaches you how to raise your child or how it is right to love and behave towards your homeland. Our homeland is a reflection of all of us. It is the image we create about ourselves with our behavior towards it. La Terra Nostra is our homeland – Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country left to us to build and leave to our children as good as we can. Through my work for La Terra Nostra, I meet more and more people every day with the same zeal and love in their eyes as mine, people who are happy to be part of the La Terra Nostra team. I am happy to have the opportunity to serve the La Terra Nostra Foundation and I hope that together we will build our homeland in the best possible way.
