Ismeta Curkić-Mujagić

„This is heaven, right here [on earth]. This is it. Give it all you`ve got.” Taking this quote from Bill Mollison in his “Permaculture Design Manual” as mantra, Ismeta seeks to fully appreciate and value her life on this planet. She is a keen observer of nature and enjoys exploring its numerous pathways. 

Born Bosnian and Herzegovinian, she grew up in Austria, before moving to Switzerland where she now lives and resides. Ismeta started her educational pathway in Vienna, Austria, and obtained her doctoral degree at the ETH in Zurich, Switzerland. She was working as sustainability manager in an agricultural multinational and is now following her passion in regenerative agriculture. Ismeta`s interest in social activism led her to organize social projects, including “Sto Te Nema”, and to co-found the international summer school “Empowering Personal Growth”. Ismeta is also member of the “i-platform” network and is actively engaging in La Terra Nostra.  Ismeta`s many hobbies include sports, painting, photography and her garden. She speaks German and Bosnian and English fluently and has good knowledge in French.
