The La Terra Nostra Foundation supported this year’s edition of the Štefica Cvek Literary Selection #3, a regional award given by the Network of Literary Critics, which consists of four organizations: Naratorium (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Rebellious Readers (Serbia), Kulturtreger/Booksa (Croatia), and the Coalition MARGINI (North Macedonia).

The announcement of the Štefica Cvek Literary Selection #3 took place at the Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina on September 14, 2024, as part of the Pitchwise Festival of Women’s Art and Activism.

The aim of the regional “Štefica Cvek” literary selection is to promote rebellious writing and reading practices, focusing on feminist, anti-colonial, Marxist, queer, and ecological perspectives.

The selection covers the Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian and Macedonian language areas and is non-competitive – the organizers do not award a single prize but instead create a selection of books they believe deserve attention, without ranking the selected works.
