From July 25 to 27, 2025, at the green, forest-surrounded Muška Voda, the children’s camp “Listen to Our City with Your Heart 2025” was held — a project proudly supported by the La Terra Nostra Foundation as part of its broader commitment to inclusiveness, dialogue, and connecting the diaspora with local communities. The project was implemented by i-platforma, Diaspora for the Development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The camp brought together 65 children — 18 from the diaspora (6 countries) and 47 from 6 cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the three-day program, participants learned, explored, socialized, and built a deeper connection with themselves, with each other, and with their homeland — by listening with their hearts.
Workshops, games, time in nature, evenings filled with song and laughter — everything was designed to encourage trust, creativity, and mutual understanding. The camp became a space of new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a quiet strength that lasts long after the tents are packed away.
“Trust in people and safety for a pleasant stay of children are the foundation for all good relationships that children can use anywhere and anytime.” — Dženana Šečić, Denmark
This project marks yet another step toward building bridges between generations, cities, and continents. The La Terra Nostra Foundation continues to support initiatives that nurture inclusiveness, emotional literacy, and shared responsibility for the future.
